A Pasco Region bail bondsman jailed Monday, accused of obtaining business by moving cash right into a prison inmate’s phone and also commissary accounts, detectives claimed.
Chris Middleton, 32, who owns Diesel Bail Bonds in Land O’ Lakes, deals with a bail bond agent offense.
From December to February, Middleton or his other half, Marylyn, put $685 into the phone or commissary accounts of Corey Flower, a convicted offender, at the Land O’ Lakes Detention Center, Pasco sheriff’s detectives stated.
The Pasco Region Sheriff’s Office said Middleton knowlingly compensated the prisoner to obtain his bond bonds company.
In a job interview with detectives, Middleton claimed he understood law on getting and “incorrect to have actually breached it,” according to an apprehension affidavit.
